Vila Flamingo is a restored estate of three hectares between Ferragudo and Carvoeiro, fifty minutes from Faro airport. It is let whole, to one party at a time. There is no other wedding on the other side of the garden, no hotel guests at the pool, and no closing time set by a duty manager. What you hire is a place and the nine bedrooms that come with it — the celebration inside it is yours to build.
Six distinct spaces, indoor and outdoor, so that a ceremony, a dinner, a first dance and a late bar do not have to happen in the same room. The surfaces below are the actual measured areas, not brochure figures.
Every outdoor moment has an indoor equivalent of comparable size. A wedding held here in April does not need a separate wet-weather venue: the covered pergola, the reception room and the lower-level room absorb a dinner and a party between them, and the decision can be taken on the morning itself.
Catering, drinks, staffing, marquee, staging, flowers, sound and photography are arranged by you, with the suppliers you choose. We impose neither a kitchen nor a supplier list, and we do not take a margin on theirs. Specialist caterers who need to cook their own way are welcome, subject to the usual conditions on access, hours and clearing up.
Our quotation carries two lines and only two: hire of the venue, and whole-villa accommodation. Catering, bar service, marquee, security and other services are contracted by you directly with third parties. You always know what you are paying us for.
Solar panels with battery storage cover close to 80% of the estate's electricity, and there is no generator humming behind the music.
Nine bedrooms sleep up to 20 adults and 2 children, for a minimum of three nights — church weddings usually justify longer, so that the family can arrive without hurrying. For the wider party we can point you towards villas and hotels within a few minutes.
The estate is the same; the day is not. Church, tradition or neither — the choice is yours.

Several days rather than one afternoon: your own South Asian caterers, a mandap in the grounds, fire rituals, and a room downstairs for a party that does not end at eleven. Hindu, Sikh, Muslim and mixed-faith celebrations are at home here.
A civil ceremony or a celebrant-led one, held in the grounds by agreement, with the reception where it stands. No church and no set rite — the terrace, the pergola and the gardens do the rest. Tell us the shape of the day and we will quote for it.
It depends on the format — a seated dinner under the pergola, a standing reception on the rear terrace and a marquee on the lawn do not hold the same number.
